Since LAUNDRY4655 first opened it's doors in October 2020, we have been providing the local community and our many visitors with a top-notch laundromat facility. Our state-of-the-art washing machines & dryers, along with our commitment to customer satisfaction has made us a reliable and trusted business in Hervey Bay. We are the "biggest & best laundromat" in Hervey Bay.
At LAUNDRY4655, we offer a self-serve laundromat for your convenience, 7 days a week, 5am to 11pm.
The laundromat offers a big variety of washers (14 to choose from - 9kgs, 14kgs, 20kgs, 27kgs, 35kg) & 14 express gas dryers. We have the biggest size machines to suit the biggest loads of laundry and bulky items such as doonas & quilts.
To make your visit even more enjoyable we offer a spacious comfortable waiting area, a tv to watch, vending machine for cold drinks & snacks to purchase. Plenty of folding tables also!
We have a strict "no pet items" policy that includes both the washers & the dryers. No customer wants to find pet fur on their washing so therefore this policy is fully enforced!
For your peace of mind CCTV camera's are installed throughout the shop.
Our state-of-the-art washers & dryers are regularly cleaned throughout the day (even more so during the busy times) and are well maintained to ensure they are working at optimal efficiency.
The owners and their friendly staff are dedicated to provide you with the best laundry experience possible. We are always happy to answer any questions you may have and provide you with any assistance that you may need.
CLEANLINESS AND HYGIENCE
The laundromat is thoroughly cleaned throughout the day. We disinfect all common surfaces with a hospital grade disinfectant. Each of the washing machines has an ozone disinfectant system attached to it which claims to remove 99.9% of bacteria, mould and mildew.
We provide a broom, mop & bucket for any spillages.
PAY BY COIN, CARD OR DEXTERPAY
Our washing machines and dryers accept payment with $1 or $2 coins. Every machine also has a Nayax card reader to accept payment (30c surcharge fee per transaction applies if paying by card).
Payment via DexterPay is availble (you will need to download the app). Our code #5493.
A note change machine is on the premises which dispenses only $1 coins. The machine accepts notes of $5, $10, $20 $50.
Washing detergent and fabric softner is available to purchase - $2 per packet. $1 or $2 coins only.
WHAT MAKES OZONE EFFECTIVE IN A LAUNDRY?
When used in a laundry application ozone disinfects the wash water and everything in the wash, this is achieved best in cold water.
Ozone is the second most powerful disinfectant in the world and can be used to destroy bacteria, viruses and odours.
All our washing machines has an ozone disinfectant attached.
